3) What stereotypes of women can you find in the 1950s and 1960s adverts? Give specific examples.  Women were seen to stay at home and do all the cooking and cleaning.Their hair had to be perfectly done and their makeup should be flawless.In the adverts the women would always be cooking or cleaning.The products for the advert would always be a cleaning or cooking product and the main character would always feature a women in it.The stereotype was that women should stay home and be cooking or cleaning  for their husband while he works to make money for the household.Also women would have to have their hair and makeup done for their husband to seem pretty and modest for them. 4) What stereotypes of women can you find in the post-2000s adverts?  The stereotypes form women in the 2000s was that they had to please men.This meant that they were heavily objectified and had to make sure that they fitted the beauty standards.Women were still seen as much more weaker  than men.They were still se

  1) What year was the advert produced? The year the  OMO  advert was produced was in 1955 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? Add as much detail to this answer as you can as these are the social, cultural and historical contexts we will need to write about in the exam. In most adverts in the 1950s women were presented as cookers and cleaners.The way these adverts were presented always showed a massive stereotype towards women.For example in the OMO advert it features a women enjoying hanging up the washing.Her facial expressions show that she is shocked and is also enjoying what she is doing.To show this was a stereotype the advert used a women (could be seen as a mother).At the bottom of the advert there is some text where it says "This will shake your mother".This is a stereotype because it fully shows that this product was aimed towards mothers because they are always cleaning and want their clothes and items to look the best of the best. 3) How do
