3) What stereotypes of women can you find in the 1950s and 1960s adverts? Give specific examples.  Women were seen to stay at home and do all the cooking and cleaning.Their hair had to be perfectly done and their makeup should be flawless.In the adverts the women would always be cooking or cleaning.The products for the advert would always be a cleaning or cooking product and the main character would always feature a women in it.The stereotype was that women should stay home and be cooking or cleaning  for their husband while he works to make money for the household.Also women would have to have their hair and makeup done for their husband to seem pretty and modest for them. 4) What stereotypes of women can you find in the post-2000s adverts?  The stereotypes form women in the 2000s was that they had to please men.This meant that they were heavily objectified and had to make sure that they fitted the beauty standards.Women were still seen as much more weaker  than men.They were still se

  1) What  key conventions  of print adverts can you find and what are the  connotations  or deeper meanings of each convention? Pictures you can see a clear image of the product itself (skittles).It shows the audience what the actual product looks like before they consider buying it.It also links to the slogan 'bite size candies' because the product is seen as a perfect bite size. The logo is big and bold and also stands out since it is white.It highlights the packet because it stands out from the red.A hidden meaning behind skittles is that on the 's' of each skittle it stands for 'made of sugar'. The background of the advert has a rainbow.A rainbow connotes happiness and joy.This would make the audience want to buy it because of the use of colours.This is seen as very appealing  towards children because they like rainbows. There are two slogans towards this advert one is 'original fruit' this shows the reader/audience that even though this is a sweet

Conglomerate ownership is a corporation made up of several different,independent businesses.One company owns a controlling stake in smaller companies that can conduct business operations separately.This links to Black Widow because Disney bought Marvel.Disney did this so that they could use the characters that Marvel had created. 3) Analyse the  film trailer  for Black Widow. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?
