 1) Make two lists - one of website conventions used on Marcus Rashford and Kim Kardashian's official website and one of social media conventions found on their Instagram pages. 

website conventions:

marcus rashford:brand logo-non verbal code,colour scheme-dark and minimalistic,compliments his suit colour

kim kardashian:colour scheme-monochrome(black and white)contrasts name-more important than design element,navigation bar-variety of sections,ordered in ranking of success

social media conventions:

marcus rashford:active engagement rate-fairly active on social media,verified-reinforces his influencer status

4) How does Marcus Rashford's online presence use the narrative of his childhood upbringing to create a positive brand identity?

Marcus rashford has the story of rags to riches and portrays to his audiencethat he built up his life and wants to give back to others especially those who are struggling.

Representations

1) How does Marcus Rashford use different aspects of mise-en-scene (e.g. clothes/costume/ settings/locations) to create representations of himself on his website and social media? 

costume-casual suit,makes him fit in with natural society and show that expensive clothes probably would not and do not define him.

locations-marcus has a mural and it is located by houses insted of in an open city which could represent to audieces that marcus has a meaning behind his mural

his work with fareshare shows a postive representation towards rashford because he is helping others so that they can have a better life

3) How does Marcus Rashford's online presence challenge stereotypes? Think about gender (masculinity), race/ethnicity, social class or football here. 

Marcus challenges sterotypes due to race because of his skin colour which makes him still face racism,however he challeges racism and moves on with his life and keeps on helping others.Furthermore he is now seen as a higher classs person with wealth and fame but marcus rashford does not make money define himself

4)  What representation of celebrity is created by Kim Kardashian's website and social media? How are audience encouraged to view celebrity? 

Kim kardashian wants people to view her by her fame,for example she uses her website to order her and her family by wealth with kim herself being first in line it easily shows to us as an audience that kim has the better advantage of fame over her family

5) What gender stereotypes are reinforced or challenged in Kim Kardashian's online presence? 

Kim reinforces stereotypes by her image this is because she edits herself so that she can look perfect to her audience.However this makes audeinces feel insecure about themselves and want to change their apperance
