6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.

His Dark materials helps meet the BBC remit to inform, educate and entertain by making the show being based of science fiction and fantasy. This helps entertain the audience because most people like fantasy. Also fantasy is a easy topic to engage the audience and is the most creative. Also science fiction helps teach the audience facts they did not know before. For example lyra has this stop watch that helps her see into the future and warns her about danger. The different worlds in His Dark Materials also helps inform people about the world because as we all know there are many different worlds that we have not explored and there could be other people living on them.In Doctor who there is a lot of science fiction. For example there is time traveling in doctor who.I feel like this would entertain an audience because time traveling is very much exiting. Also time travelling educates us about the past and the future because we get to see how life will be and how life was before. As well as this Susan in doctor who informs us about how in books the information is not actually true.
