Camera shots

1:Medium close up:

At the start we can see a medium close up shot of the women's body,we can also see that she is holding some sort of small booklet which shows that it is a form of id.We can infer from this that we are focusing on what the women could be holding while still trying to see what the background is like as well as what she is wearing.This shows us where the women is in this clip which is an ordinary warm like cosy house which shows us that she is not too rich an not too poor but likes to keep her house well and cosy.

2.Close up:

At 0.30 we can see a close up shot of a woman who looks somewhat overwhelmed but seems like she is focused on what everyone is saying listening to every detail.This shows us that the women is different to the others because she is the only person at the start who has had a close up shot used on her.This shows us that she could also be the least powerful person on this call since she also dose seem the most clueless in some parts while trying to maintain her focus levels.

3.Long shot:

At 3:29 we can see a long shot of what looks like some sort of station which helps you communicate with other people.We can infer from this that we are focusing on the signal being sent because even thought we can see the person in the frame we can tell that it is focusing more on the action.

Camera angles:

There is a high angle shot throughout the clip of the mother and her son.The other four people in the clip do not have a high angle shot which shows us that they could be more powerful.We can see this because the mother and son look very innocent when looking up into the camera meaning that they could be trying to act innocent or that they truly are.This shows the audience that the mother and son are like the odd ones out because of where their camera is placed.

Mise-en-scene:

The characters clothing is very casual and nothing too modern but we can see that the two black girls are dressed up more nicely which tells us that they could care about how they look or they just always wear really nice clothing.The older woman who is a President is dressed up very casual and it looks like she is wearing any ordinary clothes you would wear if u were staying at home all day.

3) What stereotypes of women can you find in the 1950s and 1960s adverts?   1) What year was the advert produced? The year the  OMO  advert was produced was in 1955 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s?
