Camera movement and editing
1.Zoom:
At the start of the clip we can see a zoom on the main characters face.We can see that he looks very calm but seems like he is somewhat panicking but wont show it so that he does not mess up his plan.I feel like the director chose this so that they could zoom in on his facial expressions so that we know what is going on in this scene. This has a positive effect on the audience because they can now have a sort of idea of how the character is feeling by their facial expressions.A better way of saying this would be show not tell because the character is not telling us his emotions he is just showing us them
2.Crane:
At 2.00 we can see a crane shot. The man is running while the camera is in the air following him.The director used this angle so that we could see the guy running but also so that we could focus on the setting that he is running in.This has a positive effect on the reader because it connotes that he is obviously running from people but its not in any normal type of place but it is in an alleyway.
3.Pan:
Throughout the clip we can see there are many pan shots. The camera is following the movements of the guy running to make the clip more interesting and not loose all the suspense that has already been built up.This has a positive effect on the audience because they are able to see the characters very move and they are able to see all the action going on at every angle of the scene from one person.
Editing:
1.Pace:
The movement is very fast paced but does get slow in some sections of the scenes. This helps build up suspense because it starts slow and then gradually goes faster building up more and more action over time. This effects the reader because it connotes that the director wanted the pace to go this way so that they could make this clip more interesting to engage the viewer to watch it because of how much action there is.
2.Dissolve:
At the start of the clip we can see some dissolving shots which are showing the exact same thing but at different times. The director added this so that we can can see what is happening overtime in one place.this effects the reader because it connotes that so much could happen in a short amount of time.
